Anyone want their own personal Forum?

Hey Everyone,

I was just thinking that it might be cool to offer members who have their own gecko related website that provides information, or sells geckos and supplies, a personal forum so you can answer questions for your visitors or announce availability... or whatever. You can give your viewers instructions so they can subscribe to your forum....

I was thinking to just set up a forum category called "Member Forums" that would be setup in your company name that you could just link to on your website as your own forum..... Anyone interested in that? .. It will take a little work at my end, so I can't offer this to everyone... only those with a gecko related website that doesn't just sell dry goods... and of course it is and always will be free....

I set up a couple of test forums for Julie and Nick.... My only fee is that you must integrate a "forum" menu link to your forum from your website within 30 days...

I will set it up so you will be able to moderate your own forum... Let's see how it works... I am hoping it will be of service to both parties. the Members who will have a personal place for communication, and the Forums, who should benefit from traffic from the incoming links...

Lets see how it works... Now who else has a website?

Hmm...interesting idea Allen. That will be a great resource and reference for people. I'll definitely be checking it out. If I had a good website going, I'd do it for sure.

I have a Freewebs site...it needs some work, but it's there. If I were to get my own domain and everything down the road, would I just have to re-link the new site in place of the freewebs site?

LOL...no, but I do know that it needs some updating for sure. I'm excited though. I think it will be neat, and it will be nice to have everything at our fingertips here.
