Re: Few Pictures of Gliders

They are awesome creatures. I would love to have a couple of them but I don't think the cat would play nice with them. Maybe I'll eventually get a couple when I have more time and space.

Is that one naturally that light colored? I've never seen one so pale.

Re: Few Pictures of Gliders

Yes it is, just like geckos there are a ton of color morphs. White Face Blonde is a morph. (leuclestic, moasic, lion, cin, buttercream, albino, platinum, ect ect ...). She is a moasic. In the dog world thats a "Mut". They are VERY expensive and very rare to get.

Re: Few Pictures of Gliders

Interesting. I had no idea. I just like the plain black and white ones. I'd be fine with a just a normal one. I'll have to look those up just to see what there is out there.

Re: Few Pictures of Gliders

Beautiful little buggers!! I had one a long time ago that threw it's substrate at my dog then run around the enclosure then throw some more. She was a sweetheart and I still miss her.

I also had no idea about the morphs, that's awesome.

Re: Few Pictures of Gliders

Nah they are very easy to take care of. I am pretty good with them as in for care. They need a large cage and like 2-3 hours out of the cage to run and play. I feed mine a special diet and if you want info on that you can PM me (Its a proven diet). They do take a little while to adjust to you and their surroundings and can be kinda skiddish for a little bit. They are really easy to feed but are not a pet to just sit in your lap when they are up and moving. They are noctorunal too and mine get up around 9:30. Overall I love them. They sleep in my pockets and hoodies. I have tons and tons of resources when it comes to Gliders so PM me if you want more info

I have spent a TON of time getting these to trust me. They have gotten to the point that whenever I come to the cage they come to the door to "see me" and when they are scared they run up to me and hide in my shirt/sweatshirt. Temperature for them is just room temp. They are a marsupial also. I am eventually going to breed these too Prob next year
