Re: Long-Lived Two-Headed Snake Dies

Years ago in my teens while on a fishing trip to a local lake I found a two headed California king snake which I caught and put in a burlap sack well as the day went on and desided to head home went to check on it and found that some how it managed to get out of the sack through a hole.

Re: Long-Lived Two-Headed Snake Dies

Unusually, I find the part about them trying to breed this two headed snake with another - presumably to try and proliferate the trait. Is that really a responsible breeding attempt given that the normal life expectancy is only about 6 weeks?

Cool snake just the same - I read about it first when they were trying to get 150000$ for it and thought "man - you can catch these for free if you're lucky." The price seemed a bit steep to say the least...
