Little update on crestie I was worried about

Heres the original thread
http://www.forums.repashy.com/showthread.php?t=6354

I haven't fed him any crickets at all since I posted my last thread about him. I have continued offering the MRP. He did eat a little bit of it. Obviously more than what he was eating. So thats a start. I am going to order more flavors also. Thought he might like a little variety.

I also weighed him and my other crestie both, he is 5 months old and weighs 12 grams, does that sound about right?

Not sure how old the other crestie is but he isn't much bigger than Post It, I rescued him from Petco. He weighs 12 grams also. But also doesn't have a tail.

Here is a pic of post it, its an older one though.

Oh and the exo terra insert, its gone lol. I hate them, they are hard to clean completely, they crumble and post it kept going behind them and giving me heart attacks thinking he escaped.

Heres the other crestie, have yet to think of a name, again older pic. He is getting little dalmation spots every where. Not back for $12.

Exo Terra insert? Are you taling the foam on the back of the glass terr? If so, I agree, I also took mine out. It sounds like he is doing great. Keep up the good work

Yeah the Foam wall, those are horrible. Not sure if bacteria can grow in foam but not being able to get it clean or all the poop off of it I was worried about my gecko getting sick.

Thanks, I hope he keeps eating it. I don't want to go through another gecko not eating again. One of my female leos was ovulating and she stopped eating, then I couldn't get her to start again for almost 7 weeks. Then she finally pigged out. She didn't lose any weight though.

Re: Little update on crestie I was worried about

looks plump to me. and I think 12 grams for a 5 month old is about the norm.
