housing gargoyles
i have heard mixed opinions on gargoyles. i keep all my juvies seperate, but as adults I would like to combine a couple of them per tank to save on space, is this possible?
i will ALWAYS keep the males seperate aside from breeding, but will 2 females co-exist in a tank around 30 gallons or so? |

I currently have 3 sub-adult females in a 29 gallon tank w/ lots of hiding places and stuff to climb on. When they were juvies, I had them together and there was a lot of bullying, so I separated them. I've never noticed any aggression between them, and haven't lost any tails since they've been together as subadults.
