Gotta love hatching season!

I've been waiting for years for my red gargoyles to be mature enough to breed. This year finally paid off as just about all the first clutches of the season have hatched within just 2 weeks. I love the stark contrast of these little guys, but it's going to be painful waiting for the red to come in. Still have a clutch incubating from Hannibal's first hatchling which is the project I'm dying to see.

RidleyxAzalea 1&2

RidleyxOnyx 1&2

RidleyxRosy 1

Here are the adults:
Ridley (Lola's brother)

Azalea (on loan from MistyC)

Onyx

Rosy

Re: Gotta love hatching season!

Congratulations! I'm waiting for my first ever garg eggs to hatch (orange stripe x red stripe) in about 3 weeks.

Re: Gotta love hatching season!

I heart baby gargs.

Question- is Onyx's tail regenerated, or is it naturally very different looking than the rest of his body?

It is, she escaped and my cat got her tail. Oddly enough, it grew back red.

Re: Gotta love hatching season!

I thought so since it's so very different from the rest of her. She must have red genes in there somewhere. It gives her a bit of extra spunk I think.
