Re: Gecko Just wont gain weight
There aren't many supplements in the SuperPig really...just some higher concentrations of pigment enhancing plant extracts and other Carotenoids. The fat and protein levels are quite low and probably aren't very effective at stimulating growth.
Repashy Superfoods :: RETAIL :: SUPERPIG - Repashy Ventures - Distributor Center People say that live foods help, but I honestly think that it doesn't have as much to do with the protein content as it does with the hormones released when the gecko actually hunts and captures prey. Another hunch.

Re: Gecko Just wont gain weight
ive had enough crested gecko breeding experiance to realize that i have had my fastest geckos to reach full size and sexual maturity was when i was feeding crickets 2-3 times a week, that were dusted in repashy calcium plus, i put the emphasis on repashy calcium plus, the geckos that were taking it were in mid - late 30s at 9 monthes of age. I have used superpig and havent noticed any growth enhancing properties

Re: Gecko Just wont gain weight
The male's size should be fine to breed. But if still want him to gain weight you can up dusted insects to once ever week or two. Like I said, the male should be fine to breed with your females' size.
