GT (R.l. Leachianus) vs. Offshore (R.l. Henkeli)

It is a known fact that most offshore localities(Henkeli) are dwarfed by the majority of mainland Leachianus.

When "The book/Rhac bible" was released some years ago, I read that a GT hatches out about twice the size of an Island locality.
Literature has never had as much of an impact on my personal train of thought as compared to first hand experience.

This thread is intended to illustrate this fact. If contributed to; by members of our community, this thread will provide a great source of enjoyment and also a great search result for keepers in question. Members who keep both Offshore and GT please share your notes/data and pictures are great if you have them.

The third image is an F2 Bayonaisse from Phil.
Both first and second is a Poindimie from Steve.
The hatchdates of these animals are only 7 days apart

Bayonaisse: H.D. 10/1/10. weight: 12 grams


Poindimie: H.D. 10/8/10. weight: 26 grams

I have them listed in order of the first picture.
The henklie hatchling with the same hatch date is actually Matt P's(escargo85). Hopefully the weather cooperates soon for shipping.

Your GT is going to be a monstrosity! Good to see my Henkeli too. I hope he looks as unique as his dad does in a couple of years. Epic pictures!

Nuu Ana x Pine Isle (f) HD 9/5/09, Picked up 10/22/09 weight 6g, 2/19/11 weight 33.2g - i cant believe how slow this girl is growing.

Not trying to hijack the thread but does tht seem weird that my GT B has only gained 2 grams since the begining of september?

Hahaha... I was looking at that Chahoua with a tilted head thinking, " damn, thats a funny looking Leachie. Great pic tho! no worries on the ruler, Side to side comparisons do just fine too. Thank you. I wish I would have taken this type of "scale" (no pun) pic with the two I compared. I will wait awhile only because my Poindimie is still getting acclimated
Im not sure on your type B with such little gain since September. Maybe it will hit a spurt soon.
