Another Brosse, this one's a holdback of Steve's
Steve sent me a picture of this one, and I just had to call and congratulate him because it's so frikn' pretty. It's a sibling of my female, and is at least as colorful, if not more so than mine. It's amazing to me that these animals are so colorful without being selectively bred for it.
BTW- He mentioned that I could post the pic, and I asked him if it was for sale. Of course, no was the answer, but he does have other hatchlings from the same pair.

Wow, It's amazing how different some of these Brosses are from my girl...this one and Pakinjak's are so much more blotchy and less stripey.

Yeah, it's interesting, isn't it? I'm excited for my male to start coloring up to see if he's similar, since he's from an unrelated pairing. Maybe it's just something about this one breeding pair of Steve's?

Great looking brosse. I like the white all over. Hoe does it look in comparison to yours.

I have only seen the one pic of Steve's animal, so I don't know exactly what it's sides look like. But if I had to verbally compare the two, I would say that- while mine has tons of white, it's more typical patterning. There are several large bands and then a bunch of little flecking in between. Steve's probably has more white on it overall, and the blotching is less typical of leachies in general. I'll do my best to get a pic tonight of her in a similar position for comparison. |

![]() That's the best I can do to get her in the same position. It's with a flash, but it doesn't change her pattern. ![]() Like I said, mine looks more typically leachie in pattern with the bars and all, his has more white, and it's got a very cool, unusual pattern. |

It's been a while since we've seen your male. How's he been lately?
