Big chewie, little chewie

Ohne and Sokka Ohne was all fired down and nice and calm. Not one single leap out of her. She's gotten to really enjoy handling I think. She just grips my hand and chills. Sokka has some sass to her today. She was in the cork round, and when I put my finger inside of it to try and gently coax her out, she bit me, twice. It was adorable, and afterwards I just set the cork down and let her come out on her own.

And who could stay mad at a face like this? (or get mad at it for that matter!) not me!


And two shots, one of either side of her I just adore this teeny gecko. She is already up nearly 2 1/2 grams from the weight she was when I got her. Clocking in at 7.4g and just over 8 wks old now




And next up, the sweet and fabulous Ohne. At 33g, she is one solid chunk of chewie goodness. One of my top three favorites of my whole collection. Permanent fixture--man, need I go on? Fired down today, lightest she's been pictured in months




And a shot showing my favorite part of her, her green/white ears! I just LOVE that marking, and she has it on both sides.

Her color is so subtle lately, its terrible to try and get it on camera. She's so close to getting her adult colors, I am super excited! I can't wait to get pics of her then.

I just love my chahouas. Seri called them the geckos of my heart, and she hit that right on the head. I do love all of my rhacs, but chahoua are special to me. They have struck a certain chord. Appa, my studly boy, will be pictured once he finally crests 30g.

I really love chahoua and these look great!
I'm planning on buying one this weekend at a big reptileshow in Germany.
And maybe a Leachianus and some more cresties...oh oh i think i'm hooked on Rhaco's ;-)

Everybody seems to agree that chewies are something special, and i think they are.
