i'm just getting started building a cage for a chahoua, its 2' x 2' x 4' and i was wondering if that would fit two. i've had two leopard geckos and they were kinda boring so i wanted something a little more interesting and i heard about this mossy prehensile tailed gecko and that its really easily tamed and i need some advice.

That cage size is fine for a pair or trio of chahoua.

that is more than enough room for a pair, if i were making a cage i dont think i would even make it that big, but if you have enough room for it in your home that's pretty cool, just make sure that they can still easily find food, you don't want to overload a big cage like that with a ton of hiding places and other decorations, make sure food is easy to get to at all times.
in a cage that size, i would put a light over the top and put in a live ficus tree and some branches and maybe a slab of cork, i like the way ficus trees look in setups, even if you keep them in the pots, the geckos really seem to enjoy climbing around and lounging in them. |
