I use one of those red night lights from the pet store..
i think it's a 40 or a 60 watt.. (im not near it to check)
when its hot enough in my room i hang the light near the tank, but when the temperature drops in the winter i'm gonna hang it over one side of the tank for the extra heat..

I'm probably wrong but can't having a red night-light in a Crestie viv stress the Cresties?

well i have a red light now, and he really doesn move much when its on. so i was thinking of switching to a blacklight. so my question really is which one do you all prefer, or find works best.
