I haven't had these guys for very long, but an upcoming move out of state at the end of the year is forcing me to find a new home for them. They are a fun and fascinating micro species, and I have had a lot of fun watching them. They both weight in around 1g, about 2.5-3" in length.
This species is still very rare in captivity. There is very little information available on their captive care or breeding habits, but they seem to thrive when kept similar to a crested gecko. I keep the pair in a 12x12x12" ExoTerra, with leaf litter, cork and bamboo to climb, plenty of plant cover, and a coconut hide with damp sphagnum moss. The female laid a pair of eggs in the spring for a previous owner, but none since. Her calcium sacs are full and they are both eating gutloaded/dusted crickets like mad. From what I have been able to gather, only 1-3 clutches per season is normal. First & last photos are the male, middle two are the female. They are easy to tell apart in person--their tail markings are quite different, and the female's calcium sacs in her neck are very noticeable. I am asking $225 shipped for the pair. Please realize that, being in Arizona, it might be October before I can ship them safely. If you live in Arizona, local pick-up/meet-up/delivery can be arranged, and I would also be willing to include their enclosure and any extra supplies I have for $200 total. Payment plans acceptable if you put a non-refundable 50% deposit down now, with the full amount being paid off by Sept 31st, or sooner if we have an opening in the weather. Please email me at amanda.renee007@yahoo.com for fastest reply. Thanks! : ) |

Bump!
![]() I will be doing a deep clean of their enclosure in the next day or two, so I can take brand-new photos for anyone who is interested. |
