![]() She is either going through a growth spurt, or I really found the ticket to getting her to eat. (floor and ledge offerings). |

Re: Hello from Maryland, meet Bing & Nanners
I have an adult male which stopped eating crickets at about 25g, and an 8g unsexed which never would touch a cricket until last week. It just decided one day that they could be tasty, I guess :-)
Once again - great geckos. |

I have tried feeding the two bigger Gecko's crickets in both the large critter keeper, and a plastic bin that is 4 times that size and still a no go. I don't know what else to try except in their enclosure but I don't really want to deal with that hassle. To each their own I guess, I would like them to eat them simply for mental enrichment but they eat the CGD fine. |

Re: Hello from Maryland, meet Bing & Nanners
Yeah, as long as they're still eating CGD then there's nothing to worry about. I always feed them CGD first then give then crickets as treats afterwards. No matter how much CGD they eat, they always seem to eat a few crickets anyway.

Re: Hello from Maryland, meet Bing & Nanners
TRUE STORY-
I Once had a gecko that maintained a weight of 8 grams for TEN MONTHS! I really was confused and scared by this until at about 11 months of age, the gecko started eating very heavily and gained about 12 grams in one month! After, she slowed eating and started gaining more on a regular schedule. Just goes to show you that as long as the gecko is healthy, theres always hope. I also (dont agree with this....but,) have a friend whos gecko is 82 grams and growing. No joking.... Personally I think thats a weight PROBLEM. Not my gecko though, so.......no judging here. |

I also got a female crested with an exoterra deal... she came to be at 67g (roughly 5yo) and has maintained that despite my dieting... I am thinking she is just a big girl. Just never know. |

Re: Hello from Maryland, meet Bing & Nanners
Only 1 of my three cresties ate crickets until I put a bowl in their cage. They were more comfortable looking in at the crickets and then jumped in at their leisure. Now all 3 will eat them!
