Re: Exo Terra incubator
We've had it for a little over a year now. Everything works on it but that one light on the temperature readout. The blue light on the inside still works aswell. I keep two seperate temperature gauges on the inside to make sure its always doing what I want it to.

Re: Exo Terra incubator
I have found that a lot of companies are selling these mini-fridge incubators including exoterra, kemp, thinkgeek (theirs is sold as a mini fridge, not an incubator), reptipro. Many of these companies claim that they have re-tooled it and that theirs is different from the others, but I find it hard to believe. I bought one from reptipro (Reptile Supplies, Incubators, Vivariums, Terrariums, and Vision Cages) in 2010 and am using it for my 3rd season. The power supply quit after the first season but I got them to replace it for free. Other than that it's worked pretty well except that I feel the cooling feature doesn't kick in the same way as the heating. If the ambient temperature changes a lot, I have to move the set temp up or down a bit to make it right. I also got it because of the great range of temps in my home. I live in New England in the states and don't have AC. The temp in the winter during the day is probably in the mid-60's (F) and it's gotten into the 90's during the summer.

Thanks Aliza I'll have to check those out...good to know that they can last over 3 years without too many problems...thats alot better than some other companies for sure.

Re: Exo Terra incubator
Oh by the way. We returned our one incubator we had with the blown out light and exo terra gave us credit for it. We purchased another and returned the old one and now it is busted aswell, the heat/AC will not turn on. Its basically a $150 plastic container with fancy furniture now. We are using ice packs to keep it cold during this heat wave, we are having to change out ice packs every 10-12 hours.
