Hey guys, im always seeing people say on the forum that they use 2 or 2.5 / 1 water to CGD ratio but i use like 1.8/1 . whenever i use larger ammounts the water separates from the cdg, how do you guys manage these larger ammounts of water, ive tryed shaking and blending and it still doesnt work

Re: Water / CGD ratio
Stir it up with a spoon and it will mix back together. I've never had a issue after a bit of stirring.

Re: Water / CGD ratio
I just add water to a condiment bottle, add CGD and shake it up. I add more water if it's too thick, or more powder if it's too thin. Directions say 1:2 is only a starting point, and to add less water if it separates.

Re: Water / CGD ratio
I don't think we've ever followed the 2:1 ratio since we started using it. We mix it in a bowl and add water until it becomes the consistency of ketchup or a bit thicker like BBQ sauce. I'm sure our ratio is more like 1.5:1, but I've never actually measured when mixing.

Re: Water / CGD ratio
I follow the instruction and stir it with a plastic spoon... I leave it out for the gecko to eat without problem. She/he is growing just fine. I think he/she likes the CGD the next day better when it's thicker. The only thing I don't follow is I tend to feed everyday instead of 3 times a week as instructed.
