Major Site Issues and Upgrade

I have been fighting a hack attack that happened weeks ago and have really been struggling to get it repaired. I have upgraded the website to the current version and hopefully solved the problem. We have lost a bunch of the customization that has been done to the website and I will add things back as time permits. Sorry about the issues. Hopefully we can get things back on track. Please use this thread to point out any issues that you notice using the site.

I still get a malware alert when I try to go to this site, but like now I can ignore it and visit anyway and log in, but I can't see pictures and everyone's profile pics and the thread icons and other icons are all white with red crosses. My antivirus is still working like before...

You might have to clear your cache. I can see all the profile pics and no longer get the warning. Can you tell me the exact process you went through to get the malware warning? was it via google search?

Anyone else still having an issue.

Yes, I use google and internet explorer.
My cache and cookies and all that hasbeen cleared several times already.
I can now come here and log in without warning, but maybe that's because I clicked t continue anyway, I don't know.

I can see profile pics now, but no icons. white square with red crosses for smileys, reply button, thread button and all the icon/buttons in the main menu above. Also I can't see the 'unseen posts' message under the log in section (above the log out). It's missing. Debbie told me on FB she has the same problem with the unread posts message thing.

Strange.

The unread posts feature is not part of the new version, and all the links have changed. You will have to delete your old bookmarks and make new ones once you start at the main page: www.forums.repashy.com.

Sorry this has happened. We came close to loosing ten years worth of information and are lucky to be up and running at all. I have spent two sleepless nights working to fix this.

Please keep me updated and I would like to hear from others as well to see if this is an isolated incident or everyone is still getting the redirect or broken links.

All of the old search links are no longer any good because I had to remove the search optimization program. Now, when you get an old link while searching, the broken link should redirect you to the home page. Once the search engines re index the website, we should get good links again in searches.

This is how I see everything. White squares with red crosses stay and the 'not seen posts' thing is gone as I said, but ok if that is new... But then how to see new threads and all new stuff?

Anyway, bookmarks, cookies etc all cleared and did a full pc and everything anti-virus scan, all extra crap cookies cleared. No changes to the forum as you can see on the screenshot. No idea what I can or should do. Maybe something you can arrange?
And yeah, great that not everything got lost indeed!

Really strange..... Can you right click on one of the broken images and copy the image path so I can have a look..... Is anyone else getting this? Have you restarted your computer?

If you click on "New Posts" you will get the list of unread posts there.

for example, the path to the little image next to the word "Community" is http://forums.repashy.com/images/misc/menu_open.gif If your browser is pointing at a different location, that somehow, you are not loading the right page.

The path next to 'community' is the same here, I checked it.
I do get an antivirus warning about this being an unsafe website, but then I always click to go further again and ignore it. But then I keep seeing these crossed stuff. And I checked my antivirus, nothing is changed or so. Pretty frustrating.

Then I came back here and refreshed the page and magically everything is normal now!
So, it's working finally Lol, refreshed before though.
Did you do something?
