nocturnal bulb simple question

Hi I have a juvenile crested gecko. However, at night time the temperature in my apt. drops to the low 60s. I am using a red nocturnal 40 watt bulb right now to raise it up to about 72 degrees. The temperature is not my concern, just whether or not the red light emitted from the bulb disturbs my little gecko? Any advice would be nice.

Thanks.

Re: nocturnal bulb simple question

they can't see infrared. The same is true with leopard geckos, thats why those companies make them red and not bright yellow.
