Long-awaited new addition!

Ahhh, I've been waiting so long for her, and today she has come!

Introducing the newest lovely lady to my harem of sexy females, "Venus"! Venus was produced by Gary Hamann of Ridge and Valley Reptiles - Home or as we know him, sciteacher.

She's gorgeous Gary... I love her!! 33 grams of sexy!!

As soon as she's settled in and gains a few more grams, she will be paired with "Zipper", my other pinstripe gecko from Andrew and Sarah Gilpin:

Re: Long-awaited new addition!

Would you believe I had her on a table as a 4 gram youngster priced at $80 and had no takers? Glad you're happy with her Sarah. I love it when my animals go to someone who has a good plan and vision about what they're trying to produce.

Re: Long-awaited new addition!

Ha, Andrew says that kind of stuff to me all the time. I suspect this kind of thing happens often... I'm trying to decide whether or not I want to hang on to the offspring of my pairs until they're like 15 to 20 grams before selling, just so that their color and structure potential is fully realized on an adult scale.

I'm really excited about my pairs this year, but next year is going to be incredible... I've got so many young subadults and juvies that I'm waiting to grow up for my program that are really ridiculously stunning. Next year has great potential!

Re: Long-awaited new addition!

I believe that was one that we passed up numerous times actually. The first time was right after Tinley I think and we had just purchased 7 or 8 other geckos. Our loss.

Definitely an amazing looking gecko Sarah. I'm sure you will be happy with her too. I know I would be!
