May be old news but...

This was taken fro mthe Zilla web site and I was wondering if anyone knew which species they were talking about.

http://www.zilla-rules.com/news/pres...e-20070907.htm

I don't know, but it looks like there is still a few weeks to enter. Maybe I could get my sister to enter a name for me

Re: May be old news but...

I thought the same thing but without pictures or any information about the animal, how do you even begin to name it?

It's the newly discovered "Iwonderwhatit lookslikus"

LOL

Well, I sent them an e-mail asking if they had any information or photos, or even what Genus it belonged to; so hopefully they will e-mail back. I think in the article they said it was discovered on New Caledonia?

I had never heard about this before. Weird. I wish they had some pictures or more information. Anyone out there know more about this?

Well that's why I was asking - is this the Rhac genus they're talking about or something else all together?

Re: May be old news but...

If it where a Rhac, it probobly would have been bigger news. My guess is that it a tiny Bavayia or something.

Yeah I remember reading this a while back, I could have sworn it was a Bavayia or something but maybe I was just infering that.
