Today I am really bumming out as I lost one of my favorite geckos, Coca-Cola. Those of you who know me not too many of my geckos have names! I got him in a trade about two years ago and was not able to pair him up until this October when I got a pair from Steve Cemelli. I took the female and put him with this male as he was obviously older and a better match for her size. Her name is Pepsi, BTW, and the "spare" male is Dr. Pepper.

Back to the sordid details, I was not able to ascertain anything from the male's death. Found him in the laybox, with some good eggs (small consolation for me). I always worried that the female was significantly bigger that he was, however, Dr. Pepper has never been anywhere near her size as an adult so I figure females are much bigger? Do you guys keeping these notice that? I never saw any aggression between them either.

I am afraid since I don't know the age of Coca-Cola I will probably not know how he died. He always looked good, sometimes he looked a bit thin, however he did not look thin recently. Puzzling, and a bummer to lose a gecko like this!
