Working with 2 species of Bavayia

Hello.
I am working with Bavayia robusta as well as Bavayia montana. I just hatched another robusta today which brings me to 3 hatchlings so far this year.

And let me say that I did not think I would ever see a Bavayia forum -- let alone be posting to it

Bill

S.T. is an unknown quantity at this point
.

hey bill, name is Sven. I just thought I'd say hello being that this is your first post on this site and I figured since most people here are only interested in rhacs that you'd probably never get a response about bavayia geckos. Regardless it's always nice to see new people join this forum!! Welcome

I'll try sometime. But they are little rocket ships and not so easy to photograph.

Yes. I occasionally see the robusta. I only see the montana if I go looking for them.

I only got one clutch of eggs from the montana this year and only one of those actually hatched. Maybe next year there will be surplus ones...

Bavayia sp.

I am working with Bavayia cyclura/montana/robusta/sp.(undescribed species) Bavayia are very nice geckos, sure to become that next gecko that "everyone wants." There just aren't enough people working with them. In my experiences, most are shy, but the sp. and montana aren't as bad.

B.cyclura

*I'll have to dig up some photos of B.robusta and take some of B.montana. Enjoy! Leland
