Locale unknown. I'm getting it from Steve, but he got it from someone who didn't know the locale. I contacted Steve from referrals here, and told him I wanted a big beautiful display animal, and that I didn't care about locale. That's one of 2 or 3 pics Steve sent me, and I knew right off which one I would be buying.

Very nice. It will make for a stunning display animal. Do you plan on having other little animals in with it, making a nice little eco system community?? That would be awesome!!
I can't really tell the locale, but it kind of looks like a dark morph GT because of the dark color and shorter nose and longer tail, but it also reminds me of a dark green Nuu Ana with that white spotted barring.
Vary beautiful no matter what it is.

unfortunately i think a leachie would eat pretty much anything smaller than it that you put in there...but it would be awesome if you could :D

although guessing is fine, i think it can sometime lead to animals being called what they're not. without knowing its parentage, or the parentage of its parents, any guess would only be conjecture :p not trying to say that you're not entitled to what you think it is! just that we can't label animals that don't have specific parentage unless we know for sure; in some cases people will breed to animals they think are pure breeds, and then claim to have pure breeds themselves, and the market will get watered down with mixed leachianus *which is fine in my opinion, but in the case of the example i mentioned- (where someone is selling something as purebred when its not) its not okay to be charged for a purebred when its not :p
sorry. tangent. BEAUTIFUL ANIMAL NICK! congrats :D

I know that, I was just guessing based off pics from the rach book, and cizin
just wanted a beautiful animal so the locale or morpho type doesn't matter.
I just liked guessing. I wasen't trying to make a statment.
sorry if it came off like any way other than me just picking out traits that were simuliar to other lechies.
cizin!!! I'd love to see more pics once you get him.. it is a him right??

Oh, that one is coming soon. This young one was local though, so shipping at -20 wasn't an issue.

Got it. Just a little confused for a bit. Congrats on the new local one and the one that's going to arrive with warmer weather. They are both good looking critters.
