Very, very nice. Is that what they call the "snowflake" pattern?

If I may ask, where did you get them?

Yes, where did you get them? I finally have a Nuu Ana female, Anna, (along with a young pair of Nuu Amis) but no male yet. Since she's still a youngster, I have plenty of time before considering a mate for her. I love mine like crazy they are just so incredible! :)

I second that... what is their temperment like?? I hear from some that they don't like being handled and others say they're just like dogs, and will sit on you for a long period of time. so are they kind or grumppy?:D

Really all depends on the individual specimen. If you can get a young one and work with it the chances are better they will be friendly.

That's one of the main reasons I purposely sought out young ones, besides cost. My Ellie used to whistle in protest when I picked her up, but gradually she's gotten pretty tolerant. Sam started out very easy-going, but now he croaks (like a frog) when I reach into his enclosure although when I hold him, he seems perfectly fine. And Anna is very mellow indeed, licks from her dish while perched on my hand and usually resists going back into her cage afterward.
