Make it easy on yourself, get them all and you won't have to wonder if you picked right. Sooner or later you'll probably own them all anyway lol.

How much experience do you have?
1) Pygmy Chameleons are almost all wild caught. If you look real hard you might be able to find captive-bred. These little guys only live 3 years or so. A big problem is you can't tell how old wild caughts are. If you go with these just get a pair, they aren't harem breeders.
2)Whipscorpions don't take up much room but they don't do a whole heck of a lot. They are usually handleable and very cool to have.
3)Chinese Cave Geckos can be tough. Again most of what is available is wild caught and carry a heavy parasite load. You can find captive-breds but they'll be pricier than the wild caughts. I don't recommend holding these much because they do stress easily.
4)Crested geckos are the easiet in the group to maintain and you definitly will be getting captive-breds. Neonates are not sexable and you may end up with too many males. Be prepared to split them up.
All of the above animals are very cool, you just have to decide what fits best with you. Good luck!

well said mark,
I say go for ciliatus, but then again, I am a rhaco!
I agree with Mark, you should only purchase what you can care for to the absolute best of your ability, I wouldn't buy anything for the sake of saying you have it in your collection, I am not implying at all that that is the only reason you are doing it, I am just saying you should decide which direction you want to go and invest your time and money in an animal that you truly feel stands about above the rest and care for it and then maybe move on slowly from there.
That list is very diverse for there being only 4 things on it :D I would pick the one that stands out to you most and see how you enjoy caring for them from there.
I kept Chameleons for many years and they were terrific to keep but as Mark said Pygmy Chameleons aren't a particularly good choice, something like a Veiled or a Panther would be much more appropriate and are easily found captive bred as opposed to wild caught specimens which can be difficult to care for.

I'd choose the cave geckos, but that's me. Pick what you'll enjoy haveing.
I don't think any of those will be impossible to find in the future, so do your research and then pick what you like.
