According to the book:

"A line of Henkel's giant geckos derived from a single "odd" individual produced from a a pair of animals we suspect were originally collected on Bayonnaise. The snowflake characteristic consists of numerous white blotches distributed over the entire body. This line is being established by author Allen Repashy."

I found that excerpt on page 174 of Rhacodactlyus The Complete Guide to their Selection and Care.
