I use one of those red night lights from the pet store..
i think it's a 40 or a 60 watt.. (im not near it to check) :p
when its hot enough in my room i hang the light near the tank, but when the temperature drops in the winter i'm gonna hang it over one side of the tank for the extra heat.. ;)

I'm probably wrong but can't having a red night-light in a Crestie viv stress the Cresties?

has anyone actually had problems with the red light??
he seems to be fine.. :)

well i have a red light now, and he really doesn move much when its on. so i was thinking of switching to a blacklight. so my question really is which one do you all prefer, or find works best.
