mondogenerator is on a distinguished road
hi everyone im new hehe

well hi everyone.

IM greg And i have a 6-7 month old crested gecko called loki......

Basically, i have had him now for about 5 wks and he was about 6 months old when i got him from a local(ish) breeder. when i first weighed him(i think its a he), he was about 12g in weight...since i have been feeding exclusively on Sandfire CGD and am in the process of ordering the repashy 2 part diet, as has been recomended to me on another forum i frequent. after 5 wks of ownership he now weighs 14.5g. I am fairly happy that he is at least GAINING weight, and not losing it, so i cant be doing too badly.

last weekend i 'borrowed' a couple of small crickets from my girlfirend who keeps leopard gecko, gut loaded them for 24hrs with cgd and lettuce, and fed.

they were eaten practically before they hit the viv floor!!

NOW i have a question, with 2 parts:

1) is 2.5g of weight increase 'normal' for a 6-7month old juvenile crested gecko?

2) AND...if it is not sufficient weight gain, should i feed with crickets occasionally, or hoppers, or dubias?

opinions and any experience anyone can share with me would be greatly appreciated.
